The Downtown Lakeville Business Association special service district is a non-profit organization that began in 1995. It is supported by a special service district tax, with the goal of preserving and redeveloping historic Downtown Lakeville.

The Downtown Lakeville Business Association meets on the second Wednesday of each month, at 8:00 a.m. at the Lakeville Area Arts Center. Minutes from these meetings are available by request.
